A skilled team dedicated to your pet's wellbeing
We maintain a modern practice with up to date equipment and facilities to allow our experienced team care for your pet. An initial consultation with one of our experienced vets will involve a thorough examination leading potentially to a diagnosis there and then so your pet can be given the appropriate treatment. If further investigation is required your pet will then be brought in to stay with us in the clinic whilst tests and procedures can be carried out.
We understand that your pet is one of the family and they will receive a high standard of care in a compassionate environment by experienced vets and nurses.
With an extensive range of facilities and equipment we can perform in-house blood tests and go on to carry out x-rays, ultrasound scans and the surgery required to investigate and treat your pet. This can all be done immediately providing very quick results within a couple of hours that will help your vet come to an accurate diagnosis. More specific tailored blood test and samples can be sent to our external laboratory and still get results the next day. Treatment can be completed and your pet be on the road to recovery without delay.
We have modern theatre and anaesthetic facilities with highly trained nursing staff who will be with your pet throughout any anaesthetic or procedure that the vet is carrying out. Having these facilities and equipment means we can make your pet’s surgery and anaesthetic as safe as possible and deal with any emergencies which should happen. Experienced vets operate in the fully sterile dedicated operating theatre using only the best quality materials and surgical instruments to ensure your pet’s procedure is carried out with skill and expertise, resulting in a speedy and successful recovery. Anaesthetics are thoroughly monitored with pulse oximetry, ECG, blood pressure, capnography and temperature control. Your pet will be monitored constantly until he or she is fully recovered and back on their feet.
For animals that require more prolonged recovery times they can stay with us at the clinic or be transferred to our main hospital for 24 hour monitoring if necessary. We have very comfortable hospital facilities and kennels, specialised feeding and top level nursing care.
Follow up appointments will be made to check on your pet’s progress and we will continue to care for them until they are fully recovered and back to full health and happiness.
